pasta biologica bianca penne

Features:

Penne: 500gr - 15pz

The recipe:

Penne with peppers
Ingredients to serve 4:

Penne 350gr
Peppers 2
Smoked pancetta (or bacon) 60gr
Garlic 2 cloves
Grated parmesan cheese to taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil to taste
Salt to taste

Wash and dry the peppers well, remove the stalk, seeds and filaments and dice. In a saucepan heat 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, add the lightly squashed whole clove of garlic and brown it. Remove then the garlic and add the peppers, leave to cook on a slow heat.
Dice the pancetta and cook it in different saucepan with the rest of the oil. When the pancetta looks golden, add the peppers.
In the meantime cook the penne al dente in a large pan with plenty of salted boiling water (always put the pasta in after the water has started boiling). Drain, add to the sauce and serve hot with plenty of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
